The open book
Here’s what each plan costs us to run if you use every email in it. Amazon SES charges $0.10 per 1,000 emails. Card fees are 2.9% + 30¢ on each monthly charge. What’s left pays for the servers, deliverability (keeping your emails out of spam), support, and me.

Monthly billing. Texts cost more to send than email and carrier fees vary, so they’re listed separately instead of guessed at. Most people don’t use every email in their plan, so real costs are usually lower.
